Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between Reliable International (operator of the ShipyBox brand) and any person or entity who accesses or uses the ShipyBox platform.

Last updated: 16 June 2026 · Operator: Reliable International · Brand: ShipyBox

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between Reliable International ("Reliable International", "we", "us", "our"), proprietor of the ShipyBox brand ("ShipyBox" or "Platform", accessible at shipybox.in), and any person or entity ("Merchant", "you", "your") who accesses, registers for, or uses the Platform.

By creating an account, submitting a quote request, accepting a quotation, booking a shipment, or otherwise using any part of the Platform, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. About ShipyBox & the Platform

ShipyBox is a logistics technology and courier aggregation platform. We provide software, integrations and operational workflows that connect merchants with third-party courier service providers ("Courier Partners"). We are not a courier or carrier; physical pickup, transit, delivery, RTO and dispute resolution are performed by the underlying Courier Partner.

ShipyBox provides, among other things, courier comparison, rate quotations, shipment booking, tracking aggregation, NDR workflows, weight-reconciliation tooling, CRM and merchant onboarding.

3. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be a registered Indian business (Proprietorship, LLP, Private Limited, Partnership, HUF, or another legally recognised form) or a duly authorised representative of one.
  • You must provide accurate KYC information, GSTIN where applicable, registered business address and a verified pickup address.
  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including all credentials, sub-users and API tokens issued to you.
  • Misrepresentation, impersonation, or use of another entity's identifiers is grounds for immediate suspension.

4. Platform Usage

  • The Platform is licensed to you on a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable basis for your internal business use.
  • You shall not reverse engineer, scrape, decompile, resell access to, or build a competing service using the Platform.
  • API rate limits, fair-use thresholds and storage quotas published on shipybox.in apply at all times.
  • ShipyBox may update, add, deprecate or remove features without prior notice; material changes affecting paid plans will be notified to your registered email at least fifteen (15) days in advance.

5. Merchant Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipment information — consignee name, full delivery address with PIN code, contact number, order value, product description and HSN where applicable.
  • Package shipments adequately for transit, including outer cushioning, sealing and labelling consistent with Courier Partner standards.
  • Declare weight and dimensions truthfully; volumetric weight will be calculated as L × B × H (cm) ÷ 5000 unless the Courier Partner specifies otherwise, and the higher of physical and volumetric will be chargeable.
  • Affix the ShipyBox-generated shipping label and any Courier Partner-specific labels intact and legible.
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act 2000, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Legal Metrology Act 2009, the Goods and Services Tax Act, and any sectoral rules applicable to your product category.

6. Prohibited & Restricted Items

You shall not book or tender for shipment any of the following:

  • Items prohibited under Indian law including narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, firearms, explosives, counterfeit currency, obscene material, items infringing intellectual property rights, and wildlife products.
  • Dangerous goods as defined under IATA / IMDG / IS-9001 — flammables, corrosives, compressed gases, lithium batteries beyond Courier Partner thresholds, radioactive materials.
  • Restricted items including precious metals, jewellery exceeding Courier Partner-declared limits, live animals, perishables without proper packaging, human remains, and currency.
  • Counterfeit, replica or trademark-violating goods of any kind.
  • Any item specifically prohibited by the chosen Courier Partner. The consolidated prohibited-items matrix is available inside the Platform and may be updated from time to time.

Booking a prohibited item is a material breach. ShipyBox and Courier Partners reserve the right to refuse, seize, destroy or hand over such consignments to authorities at your cost, and you indemnify us against all resulting losses.

7. Pricing, Quotations & Charges

  • Quotations generated by the ShipyBox Quote Engine are indicative, based on declared weight, zones and current Courier Partner rate cards, and remain valid until the date stated on the quotation (default thirty days).
  • Final billable rates are determined at the time of pickup and may be adjusted for fuel surcharge revisions, government taxes, weight discrepancies, remote area surcharges, COD handling fees, RTO charges, address-correction fees, additional-weight charges and other line items as published by the relevant Courier Partner.
  • GST is charged at applicable rates over and above the freight component.
  • Invoices are issued from the ShipyBox panel. Disputes must be raised within seven (7) business days of invoice issuance through the documented reconciliation workflow.

8. Courier Partner Disclaimer

ShipyBox aggregates services of multiple Courier Partners. Delivery performance, transit times, scan accuracy, COD remittance timelines, claim outcomes and dispute resolution depend on the Courier Partner. ShipyBox makes no warranty regarding any specific Courier Partner's service levels, and our liability does not exceed the SLA accepted by the Courier Partner for the specific consignment.

9. Tracking Disclaimer

Tracking events shown on the Platform are sourced from Courier Partner systems. Delays, missing scans, ambiguous status codes or inaccuracies may occur and are not within ShipyBox's control. Where a discrepancy is identified, ShipyBox will raise an investigation with the Courier Partner on your behalf but cannot retroactively alter scans.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipyBox's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to ShipyBox during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • ShipyBox shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages, loss of profit, loss of goodwill or loss of business opportunity.
  • Claims for lost or damaged consignments are limited to the Courier Partner's declared SLA; ShipyBox passes through claims and recoveries but does not act as an insurer unless an explicit insurance add-on is purchased.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government action, civil unrest, war, terrorism, strikes, courier or telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, or internet outages.

12. Suspension & Termination

ShipyBox may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — in case of:

  • Fraud, attempted fraud, or fraudulent COD orders.
  • Misuse or abuse of the Platform, sub-users or APIs.
  • Repeated violations of the prohibited-items policy.
  • Non-payment of outstanding invoices beyond the agreed credit period.
  • Any breach of these Terms not cured within seven (7) days of written notice.

Either party may terminate the relationship for convenience on thirty (30) days' written notice. Outstanding invoices remain payable. Surviving clauses (indemnity, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reliable International, its directors, officers, employees and Courier Partners from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) misdeclaration of shipment contents, (c) violation of applicable law, or (d) infringement of any third-party right.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to your registered email at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect; continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
